Crispy Crumbs is a fabulous new home-bakery run by Aya al-Nakkouzi. Former teacher Aya discovered her love for baking after relocating to the UK and her job now involves baking delicious treats including cookies, traybakes, cakes and plenty more!

Aya was contacted by Connor, Rochdale Council’s Business Compliance Support Officer shortly after registering as a new food business.

On the support provided by Connor, Aya explained “there was a phone call to talk through everything I needed to do to regarding food safety. He sent me information on courses for food hygiene and allergens which I have completed and received the certificates for. I also received information about allergens which was very good. I feel confident about my upcoming inspection now”.
