Rahat Rizvi is the owner of Al Taj Al Malaki General Trading UK Ltd, based just outside Manchester City Centre. The business imports and distributes a variety of top-quality food products including rice, spices, sauces, frozen food and juices.

Rahat isn’t new to the food industry, having previously worked for food related businesses both overseas and in the UK, however Al Taj Al Malaki General Trading UK Ltd is her own new venture - and it’s going very well.

The business was inspected and given a food hygiene rating of 4 by Manchester City Council in June 2024 and Rahat was very pleased with the result. She was very thankful for the support provided to her by Manchester City Council’s Business Compliance Support officer Tapiwa.
