Authentic Italian cuisine is what you’ll find at Stefano’s Pizza in Bolton Market’s Food Hall. Pizza, pasta, garlic bread and delicious desserts are all on the menu. Stefano’s Pizza has been awarded the top FHRS rating of 5 by Bolton Council.

Owner Fabio Messina was delighted to hear from Patrick, Bolton Council’s Business Compliance Support Officer, who provided him and partner Liliana with a range of advice and guidance prior to opening the business. Fabio found Patrick’s Thrive With A Five Food Hygiene Workshop particularly helpful.

“I had a takeaway previously, but that was more than ten years ago so there was a lot to do when opening Stefano’s Pizza. Patrick came here [to the food hall] and taught all of us traders about the Safer Food Better Business pack, how to fill it in and went through what we should expect in our inspection. He also made sure that I had done the level 2 food hygiene course and I was very happy to get a 5 after the food hygiene inspection. The inspector was very thorough and was here for more than an hour. I would recommend the BCS service to other food business owners”.
