Located inside Bolton Market’s Food Hall, Sweet Drinks and Desserts Place is doing exactly what it says on the tin! They have a fantastic menu of yummy drinks and sweet treats for everyone to enjoy!

Bolton Council’s Business Compliance Support Officer, Patrick, contacted business owner Chun Kit Leung prior to the Food Hall’s opening, to help ensure he was set up for success when it came to food hygiene and compliance.

It’s Chun’s first time running his own food and drinks business so Patrick’s support was very much welcomed and he was thrilled to go on to achieve the top FHRS rating of 5 following their first ever food hygiene inspection by Bolton Council. 

“Patrick came to the food hall and ran a class about food hygiene and the importance of a food safety management system. He went through the Safer Food Better Business Pack which was very helpful for me and the other business owners here. He gave me specific advice on recording food temperatures and the right type of antibacterial sprays – these were things I didn’t know too much about before.

It’s good to know that there’s someone at the council I can go to if I have any questions and I’d recommend Patrick and the service he provides”.
